Ellie, Matt & Lillian // In-Home Family Session, New Prague MN

I have known Ellie since Kindergarten and now two decades later, Ellie and Matt invited me into their sweet home to document their daughter Lillian who had just recently turned one. Now, as you will see, Lillian is so adorable and she was so happy and smiley for our session. It was so fun to just document her in her own element at home with her parents.

I have to say, in-home lifestyle sessions are seriously underrated. If you are like me, of course you snap iphone photos of your kids as much as you can, but having good quality photos of your whole family together, in your own relaxed and casual environment is simply the best. I love the laid back vibe of in-home sessions. You can simply be playing with toys, snuggling in a blanket, or do a fun activity like bake cookies or make pancakes! Especially in the dreary cold months of the winter blues, these are the perfect way to document the here and now of your lives, because if you have littles, you know that every stage seems to fly by, and we do our best to preserve the memories, but having photos of OURSELVES interacting with our children is second to none.
